Sophie Alexander is a superintendent research radiographer at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Sophie’s role focuses on implementing and optimising novel technology and techniques within the radiotherapy department, primarily focused on MRI guided adaptive radiotherapy on the MR-linac. She also works part time for the Radiotherapy Trials Quality Assurance (RTTQA) group, providing radiographer input into the set-up and delivery of national radiotherapy trials.
Sophie has an MSc in Radiotherapy and Oncology Practice and is a part-time PhD student at the Institute of Cancer Research, her work looks to develop tools to stratify patients for optimal benefit from novel adaptive radiotherapy and personalised preparation.
