Sarah is an associated nutritionist in the science department of World Cancer Research Fund, working on the Global Continuous Update Programme. This is an ongoing programme analysing global research on how diet, nutrition and physical activity affect caner risk and survival. This programme includes a focus on the impact of these factors on long-term health after a cancer diagnosis.
After earning a BSc in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Manchester, she spent some time working in industry. She then undertook a MSc in nutrition at the University of Surrey. She has also worked on various nutritional research projects, including for commercial services.
