Sarah Etherington started her career in 2002 at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in acute medicine whilst caring for Oncology patients where she found her chosen specialism. Sarah went onto manage an acute inpatient Oncology / Haematology ward managing more than 34 beds and over 60 staff. Following this Sarah was a Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist where she worked at Musgrove Park Hospital providing care for Autologous Transplant patients. In 2017 Sarah went onto become Oncology Matron at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, striving to continuously improve patient experience for an area of the country that she feels most passionate about.
