Ian is responsible for the Medicines Management Unit, Pharmacy Clinical Trials, Pharmacy Informatics, and Pharmacy Procurement teams. Ian also Chairs the Tyne & Wear South Ethics Committee. Previous roles include Lead Pharmacist Medicines Management, Deputy Head of Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Support Services Manager, all based at Newcastle. Prior to this Ian was a TPN and Cytotoxics Staff Pharmacist at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. Ian was educated in Glasgow where he gained B.Sc (Hons) Pharmacy at Strathclyde University, before moving to London to complete his M.Sc. Biopharmacy.
