Dr Kirsty Balachandran is a Specialist Registrar in Medical Oncology at Imperial Healthcare NHS trust and is due to start a locum consultant post in Genitourinary cancer at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in July 2024. Kirsty was a MRC clinical research fellow at Imperial College London and completed her PhD in 2023. Kirsty was a clinical fellow at the Geriatric Oncology Liaison Department at Guy's hospital in 2022. She launched the Older Adult Cancer Service at Chelsea and Westminster hospital in March 2024. Her other interests include medical education and she was awarded fellowship of the higher education academy in 2022.
