Kate qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2003. After completing rotations in Swansea NHS Trust, Kate worked as a Senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist in Cardiff & Vale UHB until 2018. Having developed an interest in oncology, Kate joined Velindre Cancer Centre in September 2018 to work in the newly established Acute Oncology Assessment Unit, completing a masters in Palliative Medicine in 2022. Kate now leads on the physiotherapy service for acute Oncology and same day emergency care and in 2023 took on the role of In-patient Clinical Lead.
