Dr Joanna Levene is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Head of Specialty for the Physical Health Psychology Service in Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. She has dedicated much of her career to working in NHS cancer and palliative care services. She is Psychology Lead for the East Midlands Cancer Alliance, Chair of the National Psycho-Oncology Leads Network and a committee member for the British Psychological Society Faculty for Cancer and Palliative Care. She has a particular interest in integrating physical and mental health care across the patient pathway and sharing psychological skills and knowledge with health and care staff to improve patient, carer and staff wellbeing.
