Joanna Fairhurst (MSc, BSc, HCPC, MCSP) is a cancer specialist physiotherapist who has held regional and national roles for Macmillan where she led the development of resources for professionals to support delivery of personalised care. She was on the development group for the Macmillan prehabilitation guidelines and the AHP Competency Framework. Until March 2024, she was Regional Cancer Programme Lead for NHS England- Midlands. She is on the National committee for the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Oncology & Palliative Care (ACPOPC) and is Senior Programme Manager for Treatment & Care at West Midlands Cancer Alliance. She has a Masters in Healthcare Sciences.
