Diagnosed with Stage 3 lobular breast cancer in December 2021, aged 56. Treated at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. Conventional treatments: Surgery Lumpectomy and axillary lymph node clearance (Feb 2022) Re-excision of the margins (Apr 2022) Chemotherapy (July-Nov 2022) Radiotherapy (Jan 2023) Hormone therapy (10 years from Jan 2023) Targeted therapy (Mar 2023-Mar 2025) Participant in the Optima trial. Used a variety of complementary therapies throughout treatment. Doing some voluntary work for the Lobular Moon Shot Project, raising funds for research into lobular breast cancer.
