Following qualifying as a Therapeutic Radiographer from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011, James has worked at the Radiotherapy Departments in Derby, Cheltenham, Guys & St Thomas' and now works as the Pre-Treatment Superintendent Therapeutic Radiographer at the Royal Free London. He is also chair of the Radiotherapy Pre-Treatment Special Interest Group, the Society of Radiographers LGBTQI+ Equalise Workers Group and a member of the UK SABR Consortium Technical Advisory Group.
