Isabel is a cancer nurse and COSRT (College of Sexual & Relationship Therapists) senior accredited psychosexual therapist. In 2010 she established the first psychosexual therapy service at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, for people whose sexual lives and intimate relationships had been adversely affected by cancer and its treatment. She works with NHS, private and third sector colleagues and with national and international groups to promote development of clinical guidelines, management pathways and services to support sexual adjustment and rehabilitation after cancer. She offers psychosexual therapy for people experiencing sexual consequences of treatment in both the charitable and private sectors.
