Larsen's Pride - Improving the lives of children with brain tumours
Holly founded Larsen’s Pride in 2021 in memory of her five year old son, Larsen, who died from complications of treatment for a brain tumour in 2019. The charity aims to improve the lives of children under the age of 12 during brain tumour treatment. Holly is passionate about protecting children’s rights to a childhood and time with friends and family. The charity works with healthcare professionals and families to help them consider the needs and best interests of the whole child during treatment. In 2022/23 the charity have focused on the radiotherapy pathway and improving opportunities for younger children to access awake radiotherapy.
