Dr Angelos Vachaviolos has a keen interest in translational medicine and a deep scientific knowledge of molecular genetics and diagnostics. As a member of CeGaT’s GmbH Sales team, he focuses on promoting the company’s tumour diagnostics portfolio and thereby helping cancer patients gain access to genetic testing and precision medicine options. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology in Greece, Angelos went to the UK, where he pursued a master’s degree in Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics at the University of Nottingham. He thereafter continued his studies at a doctoral level at the University of Tübingen. During his PhD, Angelos deepened his knowledge in genetics by investigating pathophysiological processes in genetically modified mouse models.
