Dany advises on cancer treatment and genomics, developing the charity's links with external organisations and clinical leaders in this area. Prior to joining Macmillan (2014) Dany worked in the NHS for 31 years, clinically in cancer and palliative care 1986 – 1997 before a variety of senior roles within specialist palliative care, EOL and cancer services across 17 years. She is passionate about improving care for people with cancer and technological advances in genomics, what the workforce needs to empower them to integrate into clinical practice and empower people with cancer to participate in decision making around their treatment and care.
