Christen is the co-founder of BRCA+ Chat, a charity supporting people impacted by genetic alterations. She was diagnosed with a BRCA2 alteration after the loss of her mother to ovarian cancer. Christen has had a prophylactic mastectomy and is currently on annual screening for ovarian cancer under the PROTECTOR study. She has been a qualified social worker for 12 years, and is currently a Service Manager for West Sussex CC. As such, she has extensive experience training multi-agency professionals and works hard to add sparkle into the world where she can!
