Following an MRes in Medical Imaging Sciences, I went on to complete the PgDip Therapeutic Radiography at London South Bank University. I got a job following qualification at the new Guy’s Cancer Centre. I worked there as a band 5 and 6, before leaving for a band 7 job at University College London Hospital. I worked on the Proton Beam Therapy units here, and then went back to Guy’s for a specialist band 7 Brachytherapy/Orthovoltage Team Leader job. In this role, I’ve had the opportunity to help set up new sites for brachytherapy treatment at Guy’s, including prostate and rectum.
