 The TAP® Device’ are single use, sterilized whole blood specimen collection device designed to collect capillary blood from the upper arm. The  device is actuated by pressing the plunger, which starts the collection process. The microneedle array quickly punctures the skin and the device applies a gentle vacuum to the collection site to draw the sample into the device and down into the sample tube.
