A summary of the collaborative work between Newcastle Hospitals and North Cumbria Integrated Care to transform a failing Oncology service into an integrated, highly performing and nationally recognised centre of excellence. Incorporating a new build cancer enabling the delivery of both radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments in the same facility for the first time in North Cumbria.
