In this session, speakers discuss the clinical considerations essential for effective consultations and prescribing in transgender individuals living with cancer. 

The session delves into creating a supportive environment during consultations, emphasising inclusive language, respectful pronoun usage, patient confidentiality, and accurate record-keeping. 

Additionally, it explores gender affirming care and its potential implications on pharmacokinetics, drug interactions and adverse effects. 

Attendees will learn more about conducting inclusive consultations, deepening patient trust, and encouraging disclosure of essential information that is crucial for safe and effective prescribing within this minority population.
