Davina Opoku-Arhin, 46, mother of two, is a Black Women Rising Lived Experience Ambassador. Davina was diagnosed in 2021 and underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy followed by oral chemotherapy; she will be talking about her experience of going through a diagnosis of breast cancer as black woman and the challenges she faced and still faces due to there not being support in place with respect to the additional challenges women of colour such as herself face.
