Immunotherapy has revolutionised cancer treatment, offering new hope for patients, including the older population. However, treating older cancer patients with immunotherapy presents unique challenges due to their generally more complex health profiles, including comorbidities and age-related physiological changes. A multi-disciplinary approach is critical in supporting older cancer patients undergoing immunotherapy. MDT approach to immunotherapy for older cancer patients not only involves tailoring medical treatments to individual needs but also incorporates comprehensive support addressing physical, nutritional, cognitive, and emotional health. This holistic strategy is essential for optimising treatment outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for older cancer patients.
